FOREWORD
Mr. Sonam Dendup is the company's founder, established in 2008 when he graduated in year 12. The business was hardly walking and handled few groups in five years. Sonam took an opportunity to build his academic qualification when the first continuing education opened in the country for undergraduate studies in 2013 at Royal Thimphu College and obtained his BA in English and Environmental Studies in 2017. The operation of the tour office was shut down during his study period and reopened in August 2017. Within a short period, it saw a milestone observing the good number of tourists arriving and had injected significant capital into marketing in Thailand, China, & England consecutively for three years (2017, 2018, & 2019) and expected more figures to receive. Unfortunately, COVID-19 devastated a line of business and shattered all the plans and dreams. As the world was in turmoil, there was neither hope to continue nor any other avenue for supplement survival locally resulting closing down of the business in 2022. Without ado, Sonam spontaneously fled to Australia for his higher studies at the beginning of 2023 and studied at Edith Cowan University, Western Australia. The drive of tour operation did not end there and was set up from scratch in mid-2024.
Choe Nga Leisure Travel was introduced in August 2024 with its office in the capital Thimphu. It is registered with the Tourism Council of Bhutan and affiliated with the Association of Bhutanese Tour Operators (ABTO). Choe Nga Leisure Travel's vision is to provide travelers with an unforgettable experience of Bhutan and Bhutanese rich culture. The concept of ‘Care with Purpose’ is considered important, and fully integrated into our travel system where a person or group is given a choice and a decision for their travel. A visitor’s needs, views, wants, etc., are respected to make their holidays fruitful and memorable. The company was initially named Adorable Brothers Adventure, next with Bhutan Bountiful Tours before the current one Choe Nga Leisure Travel. 
The management is constantly working and researching new roads for our guests to explore the hidden jewels of Bhutan and Bhutanese life and culture. Packages such as cultural tours, textiles tours, eco-tourism, foody tours, golf tours, sports tours, wedding tours, honeymoon tours, and mild to toughest trekking are on the list. The management has built its capacity to organize and arrange tours for one person to a group of more than 100 pax.
